Transferring clips to your PC is also required when you plan to edit them to make some adjustments, and then publish them on your favorite platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, etc. That said, here you will learn how to transfer video from DJI Osmo Pocket to Mac or Windows computer, edit it, and transfer the modified clip back to the device using one of the most sophisticated applications available online.
After you have recorded footage on your DJI Osmo Pocket and believe it is time to make some adjustments to the video, transferring it to your computer is the first thing that needs to be done. Even though you can choose any method to so, one application that makes the task much more accessible is Wondershare UniConverter originally Wondershare Video Converter Ultimate.
UniConverter is available for both Mac and Windows and is a robust conversion program that supports more than formats. For instance, with Wondershare UniConverter, you can record computer screen, burn media to optical discs, convert videos to virtual reality VR , etc. Ensure that you obtained Wondershare UniConverter from its official website and have installed it on your Windows or Mac computer a Windows 10 PC is used here for demonstration.
Next, launch the program using its shortcut icon. In this way, multiple frames are overlaid and finally combined into a single frame that is sharp, clear, and accurately exposed.
It is designed to capture a wide dynamic range from the sensor, and colors are distributed evenly so the dark part of a picture is greatly improved. It is not a real LUT, but a lower-contrast video with a flat color profile, great for post-processing options.
Method 1: Swipe the touchscreen to the right to access the album. Method 2: Connect to the DJI Mimo app and tap the album icon in the bottom right corner to view existing photos and videos. Everything is saved on the microSD card.
With a prime lens, the clear imaging distance is 60 mm and farther. Subjects are clear when they are more than 60 mm away from the lens. Yes, spot metering is the default. This is one of my favorite ways because not only are you taking your photos and videos off of the Osmo Action, you're also charging the camera as well while you're doing it! And honestly, the micro SD card is kind of a pain in the butt to get out if you have short fingernails like me.
But that being said, that leads us into the next way to get videos off Osmo Action. This method is another simple way to take all of your photos and videos off of the Osmo Action, if you have a Macbook Pro or other computer with a SD card slot, this is a more appealing method because you don't have to carry around a SD card reader, but nonetheless - just popping the micro SD card out of the slot and plugging it into a USB reader is a very effecting and fast way to get files from the Osmo Action.
To save photos and videos from the Osmo Action to your phone, you'll have to download the Mimo app. And yes, I might need second 2 TB hard drive. I bought Osmo because it's price got comparable with mid tier cameras.
I expected it will be an upgrade in every aspect. It was but not in every aspect. I can't see why it was not included. It is difficult to edit 20 min 4 GB files. All cameras have loop recording with multiple options. All that for a decent 8 hours of recording. And a spare brick in case first one fails.
It's not commercial. I looked at some of your videos, good edit but it seems like they are really short for the hours you are recording. They can record in h. I think they have loop-recording too, atleast SJ have it.
Videos are short because they are for myself. Definitely will start making stories in the future. I'm recording everything for accident protection, crooked police, foreigner is always at fault.
Always have several cameras, all equipment has to be double in case of loss, damage, theft Stabilization was my pick. Basically I was watching split screen videos on Youtube in rough conditions. Firefly handled image better.
For the same reason I expect great results from Rocksteady, I feel it's better than GP8 Hypersmooth at least for motorcycle. I don't think Osmo Action will get more updates, it's the end of the life cycle. Engineering effort is in upcoming Osmo Action 2.
