Next to the name of the affected notebook, click Settings , and then click Close.
Switch back to the notebook in OneNote for the web in your browser, and then click Open in OneNote on the ribbon. If your notebook is stored on OneDrive, check our Service Status page for any known interruptions or outages. Warning: Signing in or out of OneNote or removing and reinstalling the app is not recommended for troubleshooting, as this could result in data loss.
You can check the sync status for any specific errors by doing the following:. Check for errors in the dialog box, note the error code and message and check the list of error codes in this article. Note: You may see a Get Help button next to an error. If you do, click it as it should open a troubleshooting article specific to the error.
There may be times when your shared notebook is syncing normally except for one of its sections. You can verify this by doing the following:. Individual notebook sections can occasionally stop syncing properly. You can do this by right-clicking each page and then clicking Move or Copy. If a progress bar appears, wait for it to finish. If following these steps successfully syncs the pages in the new section that you created, you can safely delete the old section and then continue working in the new.
After the old section is deleted, you can rename the new section to the same name as the deleted section. If you no longer want that section, you can delete it from the Recycle Bin to stop the error:. You can also Copy and Paste the pages or content in the section to another page or section. Version conflict messages typically appear if you and another user attempt to edit the same part of a page, such as changing the same paragraph of notes, at the same time. When this happens, OneNote creates multiple copies of the page to avoid data loss and an error message appears on the yellow Information bar.
You will see an icon on a page that has the conflict. Click the yellow Information bar at the top of your page to view a page that lists the conflicting changes highlighted in red. Copy information from the page with the merge conflicts error and paste the changes into the main page, if necessary. When you finish incorporating any changes, delete the conflicts page by right-clicking its page tab and then clicking Delete on the shortcut menu. Even though they may seem to be sync errors, most are actually authentication errors that can be fixed by following one of these methods:.
Close and then re-open the notebook. Check to make sure you have access to the notebook via OneNote for the web at www. This may be caused by large backup files. To solve these sync issues, you can optimize, or delete existing notebook backups. Open the Microsoft folder and then open the OneNote folder.
Open the Delete the files or folders you no longer wish to save in the Backup folder. With Authoritative Upload, you can now tell the server and cloud, how to resolve this case and get the cloud seamlessly updated with the latest changes on the server. No matter how the data got to the cloud, this mode can update the Azure file share if the data stems from the matching location on the server.
Be sure to avoid large directory restructures between the initial copy to the cloud and catching up with Authoritative Upload. This will ensure you are only transporting updates. Changes to directory names will cause all files in these renamed directories to be uploaded again.
A staging share is no longer required to use DataBox. Existing jobs on a server will continue even with the upgrade to agent version Portal improvements to view cloud change enumeration and sync progress.
When a new sync group is created, any connected server endpoint can only begin sync, when cloud change enumeration is complete. In case files already exist in the cloud endpoint Azure file share of this sync group, change enumeration of content in the cloud can take some time.
The more items files and folders exist in the namespace, the longer this process can take. If a registered server is renamed, Azure File Sync will now show the new server name in the portal.
If the server was renamed prior to the v13 release, the server name in the portal will now be updated to show the correct server name. If a large number of files is changed on the server, sync upload is now performed from a VSS snapshot which reduces per-item errors and sync session failures.
The Invoke-StorageSyncFileRecall cmdlet will now recall all tiered files associated with a server endpoint, even if the file has moved outside the server endpoint location. New telemetry Event ID to monitor the orphaned tiered files cleanup progress after removing a server endpoint with cloud tiering enabled.
If you find out that you're not able to flash firmware using a USB cable, go and install a bootloader first and then come back to this video and continue from here. The github link is in the description of this video. On the Marlin github page, first click on the Branch button and then select the bugfix We wanna make sure, we get the latest version with all the latest bugfixes. The printer specific configuration files that we need as a starting point - they used to be in this config folder of the Marlin repository - but they have been moved to another location - another github repository.
Inside of this second repository - once you unzipped it to a different folder on your computer - you will find the configuration files that you're looking for. Copy all files from this folder into the Marlin folder that is located inside the Marlin repository.
Make sure you confirm to overwrite all existing files. In the previous guides to flash Marlin firmware, I have used the Arduino IDE for compiling and flashing Marlin firmware and this is still possible but the recommended way for the future is to use Visual Studio Code with PlatformIO, which I will show you in this video. So, let's first make sure to install visual studio code from www.
Make sure you don't accidently select the full blown visualstudio for pc or visualstudio for mac if you're a mac user. Visual Studio Code is the thing that we need and that works.
After installing visual studio code, you need to launch it for the first time and open the extensions tab on the left hand side of the window. Now, click the "Install" button and wait until the installation process is finished. Don't launch any other installation at the same time and make sure, you don't close visual studio code until it's done installing. There might be a message saying "Please restart VSCode" after the installation. If you see this, please close Visual Studio Code and launch it again.
After the installation is finished, click on the extensions tab of visual studio code again and search for the extension "auto build marlin". Now, we are ready to do the final touches to our Marlin configuration before we will upload it to the mainboard.
